The Tunnel King

The Tunnel King has been a very interesting book. We have learned about several different characters in this book, Wally also known as The tunnel king, Betty Wally’s wife, Tom, Dick and Hairy are all helping out to make the tunnel. Wally is also known as the tunnel king because he was the man who started this operation to break out using a tunnel and spent most of his time in the tunnel and making sure everything went as smoothly as possible so the guards wouldn’t find out, so the men started to call him the tunnel king.

So far what has happened is that Wally has been captured and Wally is determined to break out to see his crew and his family again. He has begin to dig a tunnel that leads out of the prison ground, they were planning on bringing only 200 men out and they had a very tight list to choose from. Once there almost done the tunnel they, everyone got called for a role call. The role call goes as smoothly as it does most times, then, the guards start calling out names Wally, Tom, Dick, and hairy were one of many names that got called out. The guards sent the men who got called to a new prison where the security was tight.
I’m very exited to read what happens next with Wally and the rest of his crew, I’m wondering if he’ll be able to return home safely? If the tunnel will be a success?

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas

The boy in the striped pajamas came out in 2008, based in World War II. This movie was about a little boy named Bruno whose father forbids him to go see a little Jewish boy. When the son hears this he goes off to the fence and him and the little boy become friends he eventually goes across the fence and sees the little boy but no one knows he’s not Jewish because he’s wearing what they’re wearing, then they both get locked in a room and dies from the gas they put in.
“The boy in the striped pajamas “has an impact on me because this movie is a very touching and it shows how people in World War II didn’t like Jews and didn’t respect them in anyway. I think that this movie was trying to get you to realize how bad they were treated.
The target audience for this movie was teenagers and older, this is because it had a larger vocabulary and if kids were to watch it they might not get what the movies about and they won’t get the same feeling that someone older would get because they have heard what happened in world war II and can make text-to-text connections.

The Most changing media

The media that was most changing would be “Harry potter”. This is because there were a lot of people who watched the movies. They did eight movies and seven books. These movies have been out since 2001 so everyone one they saw one would want to know when is the next one coming out? What’s it going to be about? Is harry going to die? And things like that but now that they found out that the movies and books are done for good and there will never be another one that comes out, a lot of people are going to be upset about what has happened.

There are still going to be a lot of people who still watch the movies and read the books even though there done and in the future people are going to look back and it’s just going to be a part of history.
